So earlier this week, the couple did a joint interview promoting their new children’s book. During the video, the female interviewer asked Wade about his marriage with Union. He proceeded to tell that world that his wife is the one who leads their marriage.
As you can see, Union and the female who asked the question was eating this whole thing up. First off, I find it very funny how the female reporter says they are everyone’s favorite power couple. Women love to look at celebrity’s relationship and try to emulate it. Basically in the first minute of this video, Wade told everyone that he tried to be the leader in his marriage but was met with resistance.
So instead of doing what he believed was right, he took the soft approach and let her have her way. He started giving out all these excuses on why he let her run everything. He brought up her acting career and says she works harder than him. I hate using the word simp but this is pandering at it’s finest. At one point in time, Wade was one of the best basketball players in the world.
Him being that is what attracted his wife to come after him and wreck the marriage he was previously in. Let’s be honest, Wade has been displaying feminine mannerisms for a long time. As for his wife, the majority of the roles she plays in movies show her as this masculine dominate woman. So it’s no surprise to see her dominate a man who isn’t strong enough to stand up to her.
