First off, I’m very surprised that many people didn’t know that Will and Jada were open in their marriage. They have eluded to this on multiple occasions over the years, so I don’t fault them for the lifestyle they chose. Alsina is the one that I have an issue with and this is going to be a powerful learning experience. Him doing this interview and spilling the beans on his relationship with Pickett-Smith is female behavior.
Women are the ones who start revealing affairs when the man in question decides to end their situation. You knew what you were getting into when you signed up, but because you caught feelings, now you want to start talking. Another issue I have with this is how he talks about giving his all to the relationship he had with her.
How can you give your all to a relationship when the woman involved is married? Out of everything he said in this video, that comment is what stuck with me the most. Under no circumstance should a man give his all to a woman that is already spoken for. That’s just not for women who are married either, it’s also for women that are in relationship as well.
You can see that he was getting emotional just talking about it and how it killed him inside. He really is a broken man, but he has no one to blame but himself. I am a firm believer that every man will go through a situation with a woman that will change his outlook on everything he believed was right. Some handle it better than others but like I said above, this is a power learning experience and should change him for the better.
Kings, regardless of how people view Pickett-Smith in this situation, this is all on Alsina. As men, we need to be in control of your mental and emotional state at all times. And we also have to be real with ourselves and view situations for what they are. The situation that Alsina went through is painful, but now he will be cautious about who he gives his all too, which is a good thing
